The “confirmation number” you will receive just acknowledges reception of your card details. It does not mean availability or confirmation: this is not on line reservation. You will receive shortly after, from the hotel, a fully booked notification (with no use of your card details), a proposal or the confirmation of your reservation (your credit card will serve to guarantee your booking).
